The CBRE Capital Advisors business is focusing on continued expansion to capitalize on the opportunities available within the China market.
This area of the business holds significant strategic importance to deepen existing relationships and source new opportunities to grow revenues within Capital Advisors and generally across CBRE.
The nature of a Capital Advisor’s work is essentially investment banking, extending beyond traditional en bloc transaction services to include fundraising services (e.g., RMB funds), asset securitization–related services (e.g., Pre-REITs, Private REITs, C-REITs), and investment and financing advisory services.
Proactively originating and developing new client relationships to bring new opportunities to the business.
Expand and maintain investor relationships, organize investor meetings, roadshows, and site visits to facilitate cooperation.
Cover diversified asset classes, including but not limited to logistics, rental apartments, retail, industrial parks, offices and IDC.
Acting as a professional advisor, provide clients with diversified exit solutions.
Participate in designing diversified financing instruments based on market demand and investor preferences, including RMB funds, ABS, and other innovative financing products.
Contributing to competitive bid proposals and formal presentations.
Conduct fundraising targeting RMB and USD investors.
Participate in core information interpretation, financial modeling, and investment value analysis of potential projects to provide decision support to investors.
Facilitate alignment and negotiation between investors and project parties on key transaction terms to achieve consensus.
Work closely with investment, legal, finance, and operations teams.
Preparing legal documents and prospectuses.
Any other duties as assigned by your management team
· Experience in the global real estate finance market or in securities firms/investment banking.
· Exceptional real estate knowledge and a thorough understanding of the real estate market.
· Experience in ABS-related work is preferred.
· Experience in RMB fundraising-related work is preferred.
· Proficient in PPT and Excel.
· Skilled in investment modeling and financial analysis.
· Strong technical knowledge (regulatory, tax and legal) necessary to expertly conclude transactions.
· Able to prepare and present financing proposals with the skill and experience to influence and overcome objections.
· Established and proven professional network.
· Able to evaluate and source the most appropriate source and mix of capital.
· Able to work in a team environment, evidencing strong communication skills.
· Able to scope, manage and review the due diligence process and outputs, as well as leading the legal completion of any financing (if required).
· Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin.
· A service aptitude, i.e., a willingness to serve.
