Job Overview

As a key member of our team to foster GMI a digital and data savvy organization, the Consumer Digital Technology Lead will play a critical role in driving our company's digital agenda forward. This leader will be responsible for shaping and executing the digital technology strategy that enhances our consumer engagement, optimizes our digital products, and accelerates our market presence. We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong technology background and a passion for the consumer experience.


 

1. Develop Digital Technology Strategy: Create a comprehensive digital technology product/platform strategy and vision (consumer connection and engagement, social media, martech, adtech, CDP, VOC, etc ) that aligns with our business goals and consumer needs. Ensure the strategy is future-focused and agile enough to adapt to emerging technologies.

 

2. Lead Technology Innovation: Identify and implement innovative technologies that can enhance our digital offerings, improve consumer experience, AI content creation, AI based data-driven marketing and drive business growth.

 

3. Manage Technology Projects and Continuous Digital Iterations: Oversee the execution of digital technology projects, including roadmap planning, solution design, resource allocation, and timeline management. Ensure projects/sprints are prioritized in product backlog and delivered on time, within budget and quality.

 

4. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, CRM, shop sales/Ecommerce, other DTC product owners, technical delivery, global teams to ensure that digital technology initiatives are integrated and aligned with overall business and D&T objectives.

 

5. Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analytics and consumer insights to inform technology decisions and optimize the performance of digital products.

 

6. Ensure Security and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on data security and privacy, ensuring all digital technologies and practices are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.

 

7.  Foster a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage and implement continuous improvement processes within the digital technology domain, keeping abreast of new tools, platforms, and best practices.

 

8. Collaborative Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of digital technologists, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment within D&T and also business functions.

 

9.  Budget Management:  Manage the digital technology budget, ensuring effective use of resources and maximizing ROI on technology investments.

 

10. Communicate with Clarity: Articulate complex technical concepts in understandable terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and clearly present the value proposition of digital technology initiatives to senior leadership.

任职条件

Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed

·      Bachelor's Degree

Education:  A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing Tech/Statistics or a related field is required. An advanced degree or certifications in digital technology are preferred.

·      Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in digital technology roles, business knowledge of FMCG industry

·      Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of digital platforms, cloud services, mobile technologies, APIs, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

·      Product/Platform Management:  Product Vision/Roadmap Planning, Performance Tracking with OKR / ROI, Product Design and Backlog Prioritization, Story Telling and Prototyping, Agile Deliveries

·      Strategic Vision: The ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable technology plans.

·      Communication and collaborative leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and present to all levels of the organization.

·      Adaptability: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing technologies and business needs.

·      Innovation: A track record of driving innovation and embracing new technologies to solve complex problems.

·      Demonstrate ability to turn data into actionable insights and knowledge that can be used to make sound business
