• Monitor prestige market size and growth, deep dive brand performance to identify business opportunities.
• Track prestige competitive landscape (e.g., La Mer, Lancome, Estee Lauder) through pricing analysis, exclusivity positioning, and launch performance.
• Decode skincare category trend with emphasis on product/ingredient/claim evolvement and consumer consumption trends.
2. Prestige Consumer Profiling & Segmentation
• Conduct advanced analysis on prestige/luxury/pro consumer cohorts (e.g., HNWIs, Gen-Z luxury seekers, anti-aging elites) to identify purchase drivers, loyalty triggers, and experiential expectations.
• Map high-touch consumer journeys across luxury channels (boutiques, department stores, EC).
3. Strategic Support for Senior Manager
• Deliver insights to guide brand positioning, product storytelling (e.g., heritage, craftsmanship), and pricing architecture.
• Partner with global teams to localize innovation pipelines and strengthen product story-telling.
4. High-Impact Diagnostics
• Diagnose brand health through bespoke KPIs (e.g., exclusivity perception, advocacy intensity, client referral rates).
• Evaluate high-touch experiences (e.g., counter services, private events) via mystery shopping and elite focus groups.
1. 3-5 years of working experience in the consumer insight industry
2. Bachelor degree or above
3. Experience in the cosmetics industry and Beaute Research analysis will be more than welcome.
4. Economy or Statistics major will be welcomed
5. Familiar with consumer research methodology, able to lead project independently from project design, drive agenda to deliver actional insights
6. Solid analytical skills and a sense of data
7. Strong logical thinking
8. Good communication skill
9. Fluent in English (both oral and written)
