PayPal helps businesses go global by enabling payments for over 200+ markets through cross border ecommerce. The Relationship Manager is acting as the primary point of contact of a portfolio of PayPal’s SMB Merchants in China. The objective will be to grow the PayPal business for these accounts and build strong, lasting and profitable relationships.
Utilizing in-depth industry knowledge and merchant insights, the Relationship Manager is an expert in PayPal solutions, delivering best-in-class service and negotiate mutually beneficial commercial and marketing agreements.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
1. Develop an outside-in-view of the Merchant’s e-Commerce business; the key drivers of their growth & the pain points where they need support.
2. Daily engagement with SMB key merchants, help them expand cross border business on PayPal, achieve business targets, such as TPV (total purchase volume), revenue target, and engagement rates (churn rate);
3. Maintain best in class PayPal product integration standards to help merchants optimize their e-Commerce sales performance.
4. Responsible for cross-selling and upselling PayPal’s new product and services to meet or exceed business targets;
5. Increase PayPal share of check-out against other payment options in B2B merchants;
6. Helping B2C merchants to grow further with mobile, social, and digital and
e-commerce capability;
7. Collaborate with marketing, channel partners, risk management and business supporting team to promote the key solutions;
Basic Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or above preferred but not required;
2. 5 years’ work experience in the Payment Industry, Financial Services, IT solutions, e-Commerce and Digital Goods;
3. Proven experience on managing top customer portfolio.
4. Proven success record in business development and relationship management.
5. Strong PC skills and office software, especially PowerPoint & Excel.

4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and presentation skills required;
6. Must be a proactive self-starter, open to change, be able to work in virtual team environment;
