Focus: Application Transformation & Rationalization

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead application transformation initiatives and drive IT strategy execution through robust enterprise architecture practices. This role is ideal for professionals from leading System Integrators who have worked on large-scale, cross-functional digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

* Align IT strategy with business execution using Enterprise Architecture Management.

* Shape and drive the strategy for the application and technology landscape by analyzing IT portfolios and crafting a transformation roadmap.

* Lead and monitor application rationalization and modernization initiatives across business units.

* Research market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions to recommend tools, standards, and methodologies that support both long-term strategy and short-term delivery.

* Define and enforce enterprise architecture principles, patterns, processes, and blueprints.

* Govern architecture compliance across projects by collaborating with delivery leads, solution architects, and program managers.

Required Experience

* Proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-wide architecture transformation programs.

* Demonstrated success in simplifying and standardizing complex application landscapes.

* Strong domain expertise in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or similar industries.

* Functional and technical exposure to platforms supporting:

* Omni-channel Ecommerce, CRM, Retail, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

* Working knowledge of Salesforce solutions (e.g., SFCC, SFMC, SFSC, Lightning, CG Cloud) is a strong advantage.

* Experience advising business and IT on enterprise capabilities and cloud adoption (Azure, AWS, GCP).

* Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns (APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, ESB), business intelligence (GCP), and MDM technologies.

* Confident in engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders with compelling presentations and architecture storytelling.

* Hands-on experience establishing or scaling an EA function from scratch.

* Strong interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.

* Ability to manage immediate delivery needs while aligning to long-term strategic goals.

* Experience with resource estimation, project planning, and governance.

Experience Level

* 8-12 years of overall technology experience.

* At least 3 years of hands-on enterprise architecture experience.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields.

Industry certifications preferred:

* TOGAF (Open Group)

* Salesforce (e.g., B2C Architect, Marketing Cloud)

* Microsoft Azure or Power Platform

* Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
