MECHANICAL ENGINEER- PRINCIPAL (HVAC)   

职位描述：

该职位负责为中型项目进行机械工程、暖通空调（HVAC）设计、消防排烟系统以及能源管理的设计、分析和计算工作。

核心职能与职责：

1. 为高复杂度项目准备机械工程和能源管理的设计、分析及计算资料。

2. 在施工合约文件的编制过程中，为内部工程师、设计师以及外部顾问提供技术指导。

3. 管理外部工程顾问，确保其工作质量符合WDI标准。

4. 协调终端用户需求与设计团队，确保需求被纳入设计文件和图纸中。

5. 监控工作进度，确保满足技术质量、跨专业协调及成果产出要求。

6. 与迪士尼全球可持续发展团队合作，融入最新的全球能源管理策略。

7. 为不同复杂度的项目组织和制定项目设计标准及工程工作计划。

8. 制定或协助制定机械工程和能源管理系统的工作范围及设计软成本估算。

9. 确保符合部门标准和流程。

10. 深入熟悉WDI第15分部的主要规范。

11. 在施工阶段为机械工程和能源管理系统的安装提供施工支持。

12. 审核承包商提交的文件，确保其符合规范和设计图纸要求。

13. 对暖通空调、消防排烟及控制系统进行测试和调试。

14. 可能承担记录工程师的职责。

GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for mechanical engineering, Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Design, Fire Smoke Exhaust System and energy management design, analysis, and calculations for medium projects with minimal supervision.

CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Prepare mechanical engineering and energy management designs, analyses, and calculations for projects of high complexity.
2. Provide technical direction to in-house engineers and designers, and to outside consultants in the production of construction contract documents.
3. Manage outside engineering consultants to ensure the quality of work meets with WDI standards.
4. Coordinate end user requirements with the design team and ensure requirements are incorporated in the design documentation and drawings.
5. Monitor progress of work and ensure that technical quality, interdiscipline coordination and production requirements are met.
6. Collaborate with Disney global Sustainability team for incorporation of latest global energy management strategies.
7. Organize and develop project design criteria and engineering work plans for projects of varying complexity.
8. Develop or assist in developing scopes of work and soft cost design estimates for mechanical engineering and energy management system.
9. Ensure conformance to department standards and procedures.
10. Become intimately familiar with WDI Division 15 master specifications.
11. Provide construction support during construction phase for mechanical engineering and energy management system installation.
12. Review contractor submission for compliance with specification and design drawings.
13. Test and commission HVAC and Fire Smoke Exhaust and control systems.
14. May have Engineer of Record responsibility

教育背景与任职资格：

技术与领导技能：

1. 具备机械工程和能源管理系统的应用知识，包括行业惯例、施工方法与材料、规范、当前技术，以及设计和施工各阶段合约文件的编制与使用。

2. 熟练使用CAD技术，且在工程设计、成果产出和分析中具备丰富的BIM技术（Revit）知识。

3. 能够在最少监督下独立工作，并能在高度协作的多专业项目团队环境中高效工作。

4. 具备监督小型机械工程师和设计师团队完成中型复杂项目各设计阶段施工文件编制的能力。

5. 具备出色的书面和口头沟通能力。

项目范围：总体负责多个项目的机械工程和能源管理系统设计及/或管理工作。

 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graduate of an accredited engineering school with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Licensed Engineer status in HVAC with 10 years post qualification project experience.
3. 15 or more years of work experience in mechanical engineering, with experience in the production and use of contract documents for commercial or industrial projects.
4. Minimum of 8 years managing a team of mechanical engineers and designers in the production of contract documents for construction.
5. Experienced in the construction phase with submittal/shop drawing review process and on-site field inspections.
6. Advance degree in the field of mechanical engineering is desirable.
7. Active membership in ASHRAE is desirable.

TECHNICAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS:

1. Working knowledge of mechanical engineering and energy management system, including industry practices, construction methods and materials, codes, current technology and the preparation and use of contract documents in all phases of design and construction.
2. Proficient in the use of CAD technology and board knowledge in BIM technology (Revit) for engineering design, production, and analysis.
3. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and to thrive in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline project team environment.
4. Ability to supervise a small team of mechanical engineers and designers in the production of construction documents for projects of medium complexity through all phases of design.
5. Strong written and oral communication skills.
