Position Summary
The Investor Relations Associate Director/Director will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s investor relations strategy, ensuring consistent and transparent communication with the investment community. This role will support capital markets activities, manage investor engagement, and contribute to corporate strategy alignment. Additionally, the role will have a significant focus on leading investor relations efforts in Asia, leveraging regional insights to enhance investor engagement and communication. This role will report to Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Communications: Craft and deliver compelling narratives around corporate development, pipeline progress, and financial performance to investors and analysts.
· Investor Engagement: Manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. Organize investor meetings, roadshows, and conference participation, with a particular focus on Asia.
· Disclosure & Reporting: Support quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, and regulatory filings (e.g., Form 10-K, HKEx disclosures).
· Market Intelligence: Monitor biotech sector trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment to inform internal strategy.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Legal, Communications, and R&D to ensure alignment and accuracy of public disclosures.
· Support Execution of Key Strategic Initiatives: Assist in the execution of strategic initiatives that align with corporate goals and investor expectations.
· 5+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or investor relations within biotech or healthcare.
· Scientific academic credentials preferred but not required with sector experience.
· Strong understanding of capital markets and biotech industry dynamics.
· Strong analytical skills and excellent financial modeling/PPT skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-border environment.
· Based in Shanghai, some travel is required.
