职位描述

1) Collaborate with the marketing teams to strategically enhance valorisation, thereby ensuring impactful communication and sustained consumer relevance, through the development of new WOW and methodologies.

 

2) Actively identify and lead local innovation initiatives, particularly those involving visual demonstrations, while providing robust scientific support for our brand portfolio

 

3) Support global lab innovation to ensure consumer-relevant success in the Chinese market.

 

4) Establish Robust Scientific Valorization (Sci Valo) Territory: Collaboratively build scientific valorization territory with DMI, ensuring alignment with global strategies and consumer relevance.

 

5) Leverage competitive insight to enhance consumer penetration through optimized value creation and communication efforts.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL EXCELLENCE

 

Cultivates and maintains strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, especially with brand valo, product development, AdvR, DMI/local marketing.

 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

 

1. Plans and develops project proposals and executes project objectives in line with best practices.

 

2. Ensures compliance: Comply with Chinese regulations/guidelines and L’Oreal SOP/guidelines.

 

3. Tracks, monitors, reviews, manages, and reports studies progress. Ensure all milestones are met.

 

4. Responsible for the safety, ethical, and financial integrity of all projects undertaken.

 

MEMBER OF A TRANSVERSAL VALO TEAM

 

1. Undertakes designated tasks as a responsible member of the SPV team.

 

2. Recognises the need and desire to undertake personal development as the role develops

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

1. (Minimum) Master’s in biology/science in Psychology/Chemistry/Cosmetic Science or equivalent

 

2. At least 8 years+ relevant working experience in cosmetic ingredients, product development or in vitro research in cosmetic industry

 

3. Working knowledge of cosmetic ingredients and skin biology

 

4. Knowledge of China cosmetic regulation landscape; understands and interprets relevant rules and regulations, adherence to Chinese regulations

 

5. Strong knowledge of skin biology/physiology and cosmetic ingredients

 

6. Excellent communication skill; able to translate science/technology into consumer language

 

7. A strong passion for the cosmetic competitive landscape, coupled with a deep understanding of consumer needs and centricity.

 

8. Demonstrated capacity to build relationships with team members and to perform effectively in a team environment, to work closely with support team members and key stakeholders.

 

9. Strong communication skills, both written and oral in both English and Chinese, to effectively promote and present results/key learnings to key stakeholders.

 

10. Team-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working in a global company and with diverse cultures.

 

11. High level of organizational, prioritization, and project management skills, problem-solving orientation, and desire to innovate in a fast-moving environment with sufficient sense of urgency to meet imposed timelines.
