•Research and pre-development of PEM fuel cell stack technology and/or electrolysis technology, with focusing on developing new product concepts with differentiating properties and unique selling points.

•Design fuel cell stack / electrolyzer concepts in cooperation with suppliers of key materials and components.

•Evaluation performance of key components by experiments.

•Identifying failure mechanism and cause-effect relationship

•Improve performance with new design or applying of new materials, components.

•Scouting, monitoring, identifying, and benchmarking of new trends and emerging technologies, derive impacts on company research strategy.

•Establish relationship and initiate collaboration with leading university professors and industrial companies.

•PhD degree in material science, electrochemistry, thermal physics, with strong knowledge of electrochemistry systems and devices.

•At least 3-year experience in the field of Fuel Cells, electrolysis, or other electrochemical systems

•Ability to design work packages and develop innovative concepts or solutions for scientific questions.

•Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)

•Initiative and ability to lead research projects

•Efficient, result-oriented, structured working style

•Strong team player and passion for innovation
