Are you a good match?

You have hold a Bachelor Degree or above with a minimum of 7 years’ experience and proven track record in Art & History. You hold a Gemstone Certification will be a plus (GIA, IGI etc.). You have strong sense of organization and teamwork. You have good command of written and spoken English, and Mandarin would be a plus.

What are we expecting from you?

Reporting to L'ÉCOLE Education Manager. In order to allow L'ÉCOLE to fulfill its mission of transmitting knowledge and culture of jewelry to the public and internal audiences, the internal art history lecturer will lead art history courses and contribute to the development of the activity by participating in the design and animation of conferences, the design of course content or any support related to the dissemination of knowledge (podcasts, social networks), contribute to the acquisition of pieces for L’ECOLE’s collection and participate in the design of external projects implemented by L’ECOLE (Exhibitions). In this function you will:

Teaching and sharing knowledge

Courses of the school

• Co-facilitation of courses and private events on the campuses of L’ECOLE and within the framework of the nomadic Schools.
• Cultural mediation within the framework of the program of exhibitions and visits of L’ECOLE.

Talks and conversations

• In liaison with the Conference Project Manager at HQ, contribute to the development of ad hoc content on subjects approved by HQ and to the animation of conversations given in China in person and remotely.
• As an ambassador of L’ECOLE, guarantee the content, the smooth running of conversations in compliance with the quality standards of L’ECOLE and the Maison.

Contribution to the development and improvement of the educational offer

• In liaison with Senior Academic Contents Project Manager at HQ, support for the design of new courses.
• participation in the revision of the courses and pedagogical content.
• As an ambassador of the school, to be the guarantor of the content of the course materials by respecting the quality standards of the L’École des Arts Joailliers et of the Maison.

Ad hoc contribution to content for social networks, e.g. podcasts

• In liaison with the Com Dept, content design and post translation.
• Coordinate podcasts design and animations.

Proofreading and translation of texts into local language (if necessary)

• For publications, conferences or educational engineering, proofreading of texts translated and occasional translation of content.

Communication and community relationship

• As an ambassador to keep relationship with key cultural institutions and organizations.
• Participate and contribute in major academic research projects or content development.
