You will be instrumental in envisioning and developing cabin concepts that are not only aesthetically compelling but also enhance functionality, comfort, sustainability, and overall well-being for future generations of travellers.
Responsibilities:
- Visionary Concept Development: Researching emerging trends in technology, materials, human factors, and travel to generate ground-breaking and forward-thinking aircraft cabin concepts
- User-Centered Design: Conducting user research, creating personas, and developing user journeys to deeply understand passenger needs and translate them into innovative design solutions.
- Integration of Technology: Envisioning and designing the seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies
- Form Development & Aesthetics: Creating visually stunning and brand-aligned designs through sketching, 3D modelling, and rendering. Run internal customer feedback sessions and integrate feedback in project decision making & product design
- Prototyping & Testing: Collaborating with internal teams to develop and test prototypes, iterating on designs based on feedback and feasibility studies.
- Communication: Effectively communicating design concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and management.
- Collaboration: Effectively working with project managers of other projects to integrate the related project into the “Future Cabin Studio” within the Airbus China R&D and Innovation Centre context
- Trend Analysis & Forecasting: Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to inform design decisions.
- Intellectual Property: Contributing to the development of intellectual property through innovative design solutions.
