MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Handle daily work and projects under defined process with supervision
- Sourcing from multiple media, websites, trade shows (Canton Fair, CIHS, etc.) for new suppliers / new products in Asia
- Organize comparison sheets and additional supporting documentation to provide a comprehensive analysis on product specifications and cost to assist decision makers (Product Development Merchants).
- Provide coaching to suppliers during the on boarding process to ensure compliance and documents collection: SSK, SBA, RTV, NDA, Financial and Legal certifications, etc.
- Prepare and administer completion of vendor profile, FCQA and factory visit reports.
- Maintain existing supplier information, including contact list, signed SBA, RTV, NDA, Financial and Legal certification, company profile, product photo recap, etc.
- File and correctly group new catalogues.
- Assist in the arrangement of trip itineraries and the arrangement of accommodation including hotel booking and transportation.
- Daily communication with Import Ops. Manager, IPR for projects follow up
- Coordinate with SQE team, package, logistic department for key project development & execution
- Prepare agenda for key project conference call and write meeting minutes
- Coach new suppliers on boarding process
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCES
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong problem solving and excellent organizational and project management skills, able to work well with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in both verbal and written English, willing to travel regularly within China and abroad
- CPM and/or CPIM certification preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of global sourcing, international trading, manufacturing and engineering design is preferred.
- Computer literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong sense of logic, analytical skill
- Strong time management skills
- BS or above in Business Management or related field with 5years of working experience preferred
