This is an exciting opportunity from a Senior Sales Specialist for Industrial & Chemical Processing (I&CP) market in Dow Consumer Solution Business. This job is to partner with cross-functional teams and channel partners to drive momentum growth and develop new opportunities in China. This role requires strong business acumen, new business development skillset, channel management with growth mindset and dedication.
Responsibilities
•Maintain and expand the account portfolio and Dow’s presence in the region.
•Understand the customer needs to differentiate Dow and gain share market.
•Search new product development opportunities within the market.
•Maintain customer relationships and expand network to different levels within a customer’s organization.
•Execute sales/marketing plan, delivering in volume and value. Develop the sales plan aligned to the marketing plan in coordination with other functions.
•Develop sales forecasts in coordination with Production and Supply Chain.
•Collects and utilizes market intelligence to shape sales plan. Get and analyze data to take decisions about new product development.
•Leads and conducts negotiations and develops and implements price strategies aligned with business goals considering legal implications, customs regulations and Dow sales processes.
•Collaborate with other functions and stakeholders to deliver excellent CX(Customer Experience) results.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree or above. Major in chemistry, Organosilicon or Fine Chemicals is preferred. Technical background is a plus.
•5+ years experience in commercial or technical service functions in Specialty Chemicals. Knowledge in Coating, Leather, Textile and PU can be a plus. Channel management experience can be a plus. Technical background can be a plus.
