Job Description

In the role of Quality & Reliability Engineer, your daily work will include risk assessment activities; supporting new suppliers/materials’ introduction; renewing current processes; being expert in the production coming lifecycle and reliability topics as well as taking part of problem solving activities.

In your new role you will:

•Manage quality and reliabiltiy-related topics for upcoming changes and improvements of serial products with internal partners; e.g. BE and/or FE organization

•Define strategic qualification plans for transfers, processes or suppliers’ changes as a member of an interdisciplinary team

•Plan, execute and assess the reliability test. Conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with the failure analysis laboratory if necessary

•Actively cooperate with corresponding QM departments from other Infineon locations

•Ensure the reliability of our products by defining qualification methods for future power semiconductor technologies and products

•Take part in risk assessments process and problem-solving activities, as expert and/or moderator

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

•A university degree in the field of physics, material sciences, electrical or mechanical engineering or a related technical field

•Relevant experience, aligned with basic knowledge of semiconductors or electrical engineering /chemistry/ physics

•Knowledge and use of technical statistical methods/programs

•Knowledge on reliability concepts and methods (e.g.: power module)

•Solid knowledge of QM tools, as an advantage

•Excellent communication skills in Chinese and English.
