The position is responsible for supporting the department head on effective external communications and relations with key stakeholders to ensure strategies are aligned with the objectives of the department of Public Affairs and Communications. This position will directly report to VP of PA & Communications.

Drive the development and execution of communications strategy aligned with Everest goals and objectives that includes corporate positioning/storytelling, thought leadership, reputation among the key internal & external stakeholders in China and other regions covering media, patient/community organizations, etc. 

Be responsible for supporting the department head with corporate branding on corporate strategy, business development, R&D strategy and progress, manufacturing capability, as well as brand PR of commercialization, such as the approval/launch communications of new product/indication and disease awareness promotion among the HCPs, patients, and the public. 

Candidate should be experienced in:

• Planning and implementation of specific communications programs.
• Content generation and distribution for corporate and social media accounts, including messages and talking points, media materials, press releases and other company announcements or communications.
• Media communications to protect the reputation of the company and its products.
• Crisis management.
• Building strong corporate reputation through media engagement, government engagement, reputation management, to increase the company’s credibility and recognition in the industry.
• Partnering and managing external PR agency to support achievement of strategic goals and annual communication plan. 
• Ability to work well under pressure, successfully navigate ambiguity and succeed in a rapidly changing, fast-paced, often unpredictable environment with multiple competing priorities

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 10-15 years’ solid experiences in communications and public relations.
• Working experience in both in-house public relations/communications and PR agency in pharma/biotech industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of media space with working knowledge in pharma/biotech industry specific rules and regulations.
• Experience on campaign planning and management. 
• Experience on patient/community organization engagement. 
• Strong content development skills in Chinese & English. 
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English in writing and speaking. 
• Proactive, responsible, “can do” mindset and be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
