Reports to: Academic Program Supervisor and Chair of Collaborative Piano
Role Description:
The Part-Time Academic Officer Coordinator assists the Academic Program Supervisor to provide support to faculty and students in academically related areas within the Office of Academic Affairs, and to assist the Chair of Collaborative Piano in the management of the Vocal Institute.
Responsibilities:
· Assists in the coordination of academic affairs matters with all constituents of the school
· Assists in providing academic affairs-related service and support to faculty and students
· Provide service support to faculty and students, assisting with the familiarization and implementation of technology needs including but not limited to Canvas, Asimut, Okta, Cadence, Myhub, DingTalk, among others.
· Assists in liaising with and processing contracts for guest teaching artists and speakers, logistics coordination such as hotel and travel booking.
· Assists in distribution and collection of course evaluations.
· Assists in running the logistics of mid-year evaluations and juries.
· Assists with maintenance of contents on academic affairs pages of the TJS website and Myhub.
· General departmental administration such as academic affairs departmental reimbursement processing.
· Assists in general office document upkeep and translations of documents as needed.
· Assists with Vocal Institute administration.
o Logistics coordination such as hotel and travel booking.
o Contract processing where necessary.
o Assists with program proofreading; liaises with Performance and Venues Operation teams.
o General administration such as reimbursement processing, procurement of supplies and materials.
o Project-manages Vocal Institute events.
· Other responsibilities as assigned.

岗位简介:
兼职学术办公室专员将协助学术项目主管,为教师和学生提供学术相关事务的支持,并协助合作钢琴专业系主任共同管理声乐艺术中心的各项工作。
主要工作职责:
o 协助安排艺术家的差旅及住宿;
o 如有需要,协助处理声乐艺术中心艺术家以及其他合作方合同;
o 协助节目单校对,沟通演出及场地运营团队;
o 协助日常行政事务,如报销及物资采购等;
o 统筹协调声乐艺术中心活动项目的具体执行;
Qualifications:
· Bi-lingual fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
· A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education. A degree in a music-related discipline is preferred.
· A minimum of two (2) years of full-time office work experience.
· Work experience in a joint-venture Chinese/US academic program is preferred.
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, innovative thinking, technological vision, strong service orientation, energy,
enthusiasm, and demonstrated ability to work well with others.
· Experience and success working in a multicultural environment with a clear understanding of and sensitivity to the issues of diversity in
both student and workplace settings.
· Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment and maintain confidentiality.
· Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and work successfully with all constituencies of the School.
· Work experience in a joint-venture Chinese/US academic program is preferred.
· Good project management and problem-solving skills.
· Demonstrated experience using a personal computer, office software such as MS Office and college administrative computing systems.
· The final candidate will be required to successfully pass a background check.
资历:
· 英语和普通话流利者 ;
· 经认证的高等教育机构本科生学士学位;音乐相关专业优先;
· 至少两年的全职工作经验 ;
· 有中美合作办学工作经验者优先;
