JOB SUMMARY:
-Drive supply chain excellence by creating a robust and sustainable product supply pipeline while minimizing the total cost to serve for APAC businesses. Achieve a good balance among various Lubrizol assets as well as tolling facilities in the global pool.
-Lead a regional supply chain planning team of 5-6 FTE in different APAC countries, in support of several Business Units under LZAM division.
-Responsible for BU demand control & supply planning, activities cover strategic planning, production planning and scheduling, Stock replenishment etc. RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Seen as BU supply chain solution provider, the incumbent will partner with BU to optimize the balance among supply chain cost, efficiency, and customer service level. Proactively develop supply chain strategies (Stock, distribution network etc.) in accordance with BU growth plan.
-Track BU related end-to-end supply chain service performance & cost-to-serve KPI and drive continuous improvement across different functions.
-Develop rapport with global Supply chain team and work effectively within the network as a key player. Leverage opportunities to optimize global supply network and cross-region collaboration.
-Own the regional BU S&OE process and leverage best practices both internally and externally to enhance Lubrizol S&OE maturity.
-Identify planning operational needs and collaborate with Supply Chain COE team to implement improvement projects.
-Maintain and enhance planning processes to ensure highly reliable operation. Enhance system utilization, workflow simplification and drive continuous improvement of end to end supply chain.
-Work on a 0-24 M Planning horizon at least and develop situational solutions such as allocation, upside etc. to achieve supply & demand re-balance. Work with plants to maximize efficiency through reduced changeovers, machine downtime and raw material/component shortages.
-Lead and provide guidance to BU Planning team. Attract, Retain and Develop talents and motivate overall team performance. REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):
-Bachelor’s degree or above
-At least 5 years’ supply chain planning track record in multinational companies, including but not limited to supply planning, production scheduling, inventory control etc.
-A wholistic view and understanding of end-to-end SC is highly preferred.
-Experience in specialty chemical industry is a plus.
