About the job
The overall purpose with this role is to contribute to support the objectives of innovation or development projects in a polymer materials laboratory。
In your future role as “Lab Technician- Engineered Polymers” you will
· Adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines to ensure safe laboratory operations, achieve a zero-incident goal, and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
· As a member of the project team, support the objectives of innovation or development projects, ensuring timely delivery of technical results.
· Lead experimental activities within the scope of responsibilities, planning experimental processes to meet departmental standards and customer needs.
· Enhance personal technical capabilities and safety practices by integrating application development goals with HSE requirements
· Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment such as injection molding machines, Fourier transform infrared analyzers, muffle furnaces, etc.
· Prepare polymer material samples, conduct performance tests and data analysis to support new product promotion and project implementation.
· Maintain a "zero incident record" in the laboratory and practice the "Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture."
· Assist the team in raw material evaluation, formulation optimization, and test data organization to support technical decision-making.
· Write experiment reports in both Chinese and English, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of technical documents.
We believe you bring
· Bachelor's degree or above in Polymer Materials, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields.
· At least 3 years of experience in a polymer materials laboratory, familiar with operating equipment such as injection molding, TMA, FTIR, etc.
· Experience in Adhesive, Sealant, Composite, Coating and relevant application will be a plus.
· Fluent in English, able to write technical reports and participate in international collaboration; fluent in Mandarin communication.
· Experience in formulation development, material characterization, or practical chemical analysis is preferred.
· Diligent and meticulous, with strong analytical skills, team spirit, and a willingness for continuous learning.
