MAIN PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to manage the strategy and execution of key collections within Jewellery category and ensure successful implementation of local marketing strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales Budget Planning and Strategic Planning
- Identify business opportunities for dedicated Jewelry collections and contribute to the development and adjustment of sales budget plans and strategy planning
- Set a roadmap for long-term vision and actionable plans aligned with the Maison’s strategic priorities while adapting to local market needs
2. Product Strategy, Action Plans & Projects
- Define local product strategy and efficient action plans of assigned lines, supported by the line manager, based on Maison’s strategic direction, client-centric mindset & fact-based analysis
- Develop integrated action plans in collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Drive and ensure effective project implementation through constant tracking and renewal
3. Marketing Excellence
- Assess and define the sales potential of novelties using key benchmarking analysis, compared to competitions and market needs
- Collaborate with local and central teams in regular forecast planning to achieve business targets and ensure healthy visibility for all assigned collections
- Supervise and ensure high-quality sales review and analysis (monthly, yearly, ad-hoc, etc.)
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop launch strategy and ensure smooth launches of novelties
- Support on marketing operations, such as dressing proposal, VM proposal, trainings, price adjustment, proofreading, etc.
- Assist with transversal projects (e.g. HJ event, CIIE, etc)
4. Competition, Customer & Market Insights
- Develop a deep understanding of the Chinese market, competitors and customer insights
- Identify and capitalize on business opportunities and propose local initiatives to meet market needs
5. Team Management & Coaching
- Coach and develop team members under supervision; Foster competent, commercial acumen, dedication, efficiency, and a client-centric mindset
