MAIN PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to be a driving force to optimize business goals of Watch category in China, managing the strategy and execution, and ensuring the successful implementation of local marketing strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Optimize Business Goals for Watch Category
- Build and collaborate closely with key stakeholders to enhance Maison’s Watch business market share, awareness and appreciation
- Develop and oversee the 3-year plan, identify business opportunities and manage the sales budget plan and product strategy for the Watch category
- Actively engage with cross-functional teams to ensure excellence in the implementation of marketing strategies and actions
2. Conduct 360-degree Action Plans
- Partner with cross-function team leaders to guide product strategy and achieving business goals
- Define efficient local action plans for Watch category
- Organize and lead transversal taskforces for 360-degree implementation
- Develop integrated launch strategies for novelties and collaborate with central team and local cross-function teams to address Chinese market needs
3. Ensuring Marketing Excellence towards Insights, Performances and Planning
- Assess and define the sales potential of novelties and in-range products, in collaboration with local and central teams to achieve business target and ensure healthy visibility of the Watch category; Be accountable for forecast accuracy
- Supervise and ensure high-quality, accurate, insightful sales review and analysis
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth launches of novelties, and execute post-launch performance tracking, sharing results with central teams
- Analyze and identify opportunities for Chinese market and customer on product development
4. Competition, Customer & Market Insights
- Develop a deep understanding of the Watch industry, the Chinese market, competitors and customer insights
- Identify and capitalize on business opportunities and propose local initiatives to meet market needs
5. Lead & Develop Teams
- Stay agile to the changing environment while keeping the stability of the team and its best performance
- Enhance team members’ marketing expertise, foster a data-driven culture, promote client-centric thinking and elevate the level of excellence
