The jobholder represents Engineering and Chief Engineering in the A320 family Final Assembly Line, Wide Body (A330&A350) Completion Center and Aircraft Delivery Centre in Tianjin.

Who are we (MAP)? The MAP Engineering acts with delegation and on behalf of the Airbus Design Organization to rapidly provide solutions and engineering decisions to aircraft technical problems and industrial milestones to support aircraft production, testing and delivery in accordance with the A320 Family/A330 and A350 programme objectives, while contributing to meet aircraft safety, product maturity and reduction of recurring costs.

ACCOUNTABILITY
The jobholder is in charge of:
- Analyzing Non Conformities discovered during aircraft assembly, testing and delivery. Providing engineering disposition with design/stress assessment and justification to the Non Conformity.
- Signing off Technical documents including but not limited to NCN, ALB, Concession.
- Ensuring safe operation of the product with respect to structural integrity and operational efficiency.
- Liaising with and supporting stakeholders such as Final Assembly Line, Delivery Center, Design Office, Chief Engineers, Airworthiness Specialists and other MAP offices.
- Providing long term solutions to recurrent Non Conformities, through the proposition of design or manufacturing improvements.
- Manage and support end to end execution of targeted design changes up to serial introduction under consideration of time, cost and quality.
- Creating temporary aircraft definitions (through technical note or special instructions) in order to support the operational tests.
- Providing aircraft safety assessment and delta endorsement for flight test.
- Representing the team and the Design Office in front of Airlines and internal customers, by providing technical justifications.
- Contributing to the Design Structure skill profile of the team.
This role will involve some business travel in Europe/worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
This role is working under flexible working hours and requesting standby during weekdays or weekends according to team arrangement.
