岗位概要/基本工作职能: Key Performance Area / Key Job responsibility
Role purpose overview:
§ Assure Foods Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance with the China business.
§ The role is a key member of the cross functional Supply China team, the corporate FSQ extended leadership team, and ITQ China leadership team
§ This influence leadership role engages across the corporate FSQ org, the China supply chain team and the Haagen-Dazs shops operation team to set the foods safety and quality vision and strategy
§ Partnered leadership across the global FSQ organization is expected to ensure the staffing, development, and performance management of the FSQ team members with China unit.
Individual Accountabilities
§ Develop and lead strategies and priorities that will achieve FSQ objectives for the China business
§ Accountable to the business for:
ü Product foods safety, quality and regulation compliance
ü Enable business growth in product aspects by conducting new products /materials /utensils /premiums /furniture’s safety assessment, shelf-life validation, transportation tests, labelling compliance, innovation projects, HMM projects, etc
§ Lead risk assessments and root cause analysis activities to protect GMI brands
§ Ensure effective communication during issue management at all levels of the organization
§ Lead FSQ continuous improvement efforts by standardizing, challenging status quo, benchmarking internal and external
§ Build FSQ cultural and talent development
Key Shared Accountabilities
Cross-functionally:
§ Support, influence and deliver strategies, LRP, business plans and priorities for China.
§ On-time and safe commercialization of new products, core, and HMM
§ Support, influence, and deliver FSQ objectives for China Supply Chain and Haagen-Dazs shops
§ Represent GMI China with external organizations, regulators, customer, etc for FSQ related matters.
Within ITQ:
§ Drive globalization and standardization of FSQ Policies and Standards
§ Implementation and management of global ITQ tools (Product Safety Evaluation, gPLM, exception decisions, PGI Sensory programs, Turn-over, g-Gap, etc.)
§ Grow ITQ talent: management, development, and creating a culture of belonging across China ITQ org
教育程度/工作经历/知识、技能和能力: Education /Experience/ Knowledge/Skill/Capability Request
§ University degree in relevant subjects such as Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, etc.
§ At least 15 years of FSQ work experience in food companies, with 5 years of experience in leading sizeable teams
§ Strong technical expertise in food safety management e.g. HACCP, microbiology, catering hygiene management
§ Strong business acumen in understanding the key business drivers and working effectively with various business stakeholders
§ Takes accountability to win and empowers risk-based decision-making
§ Establishes win/win relationships with internal and external partners
§ An effective leader of people across cultures
§ Experience in leading virtual teams with members based in multiple markets
§ Proficiency in both English and Chinese
