The Head of China Marketing and Branding will report to the GM, China publishing, based on Shanghai, China.
Responsibilities:
* Local Market Excellence. You will develop and implement localized marketing strategies that align with our global brand vision while addressing the unique characteristics of the Chinese gaming market. Lead the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities tailored to the Chinese audience· Analyze market data and consumer insights to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance· Monitor competitor activities and market trends to maintain our competitive edge in the Chinese gaming landscape
* You will lead Communication and Management. Serve as the primary liaison between local operations and global/regional marketing teams to ensure alignment on branding and marketing strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and media outlets in China· Collaborate with local partners to develop and implement initiatives that adhere to our brand guidelines while resonating with the Chinese audience· Present marketing plans, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management
* Market Innovation and Growth. You will work collaboratively with local and regional team members to identify emerging market trends, community engagement opportunities, and potential KOL partnerships. Develop strategies to leverage user-generated content (UGC) to enhance brand awareness and community engagement. Proactively create and implement locally relevant content and events that strengthen our brand presence and product appeal in the Chinese market· Explore innovative marketing approaches that differentiate our brand in the competitive Chinese gaming industry.
* You will have managerial responsible, to manage a local team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field;·
* Minimum 5-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years specifically in the gaming industry in China·
* Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in the Chinese market·
* Deep understanding of the Chinese gaming landscape, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances.
* Strong communication skill in both Mandarin and English, to diverse audiences.
* Strong project management skills to work with cross-functional teams·
* Experience working with KOLs, influencers, and managing community engagement strategies.
* Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
* Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities with a passion for gaming and digital entertainment.
