Responsible for the complete technical solution for a certain KTI concept experimentation at a time, typically a component or minor Elevator and Escalator system level concept study. Focus and accelerate new technology design study for elevator industry.
Responsibilities and key activities:
Create and maintain Project specification & plan:
- Create technical requirement specification for technical solution for Innovation study
- Create plan (schedule, resource, costs)
- Work with Product owner and business owner to understanding customer values and new solution application range
Create and select proposals of new technical solutions:
- Generate new ideas and create new solution proposals
- Select best proposals for selection / decision making
- Develop the technical solutions for given specs ensuring a) functionality, b) quality and reliability c) cost d) manufacturability e) interfaces to other technologies, f) compliance with applicable technical codes and standards
- Arrange all relevant testing and validation for new ideas
- Create design/engineering documentation of a complete component or product concept.
