This role serves as a key leader responsible for driving team performance, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation, and developing talent within a dynamic and complex environment. Acting as a bridge between global strategy and regional execution, this position ensures alignment with organizational goals while empowering teams to deliver exceptional value to customers and stakeholders.
People Leadership & Talent Development
• Provide leadership and direction to direct reports, including managers and supervisors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and individual growth.
• Build and nurture team capability, fostering a culture of learning, development, and accountability.
• Cultivate a high-performing team culture by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and recognizing achievements.
• Drive performance management processes, ensuring team members meet and exceed objectives.
• Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the team to strengthen collaboration and innovation.
Strategic Alignment & Collaboration
• Represent the team in the Global Leadership Team (LT), partnering with other leaders to shape overall strategy and direction.
• Translate global strategy into actionable goals for the Suzhou team, ensuring alignment with regional insights and priorities.
• Act as a bridge between customers and manufacturing teams, enhancing capability to deliver faster solutions to the market.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional, global teams to improve processes, align objectives, and resolve challenges.
Operational Excellence & Resource Management
• Direct and oversee team workflow, aligning processes to ensure seamless collaboration with global counterparts.
• Develop and execute resource plans, balancing capacity, growth, and cost considerations to meet regional needs.
• Drive quality assurance processes within assigned product categories to minimize rework and enhance delivery outcomes.
• Own service delivery objectives, ensuring design sessions, lead times, and customer commitments are met with consistency and excellence.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal partners (operations, marketing, sales, and R&D) to align strategies with customer needs.
• Foster partnerships with external suppliers and organizations to strengthen regional capabilities and innovation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to customers, ensuring the team consistently delivers value and builds long-term relationships.

Qualifications and Work Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading hybrid and cross-functional teams in a global, matrixed environment.
• Proven success in managing complex initiatives from concept to execution.
• Experience working within regulated industries, with a strong understanding of quality and compliance processes.
• High-level responsibility for delivering superior customer experiences and fostering trusted partnerships.
Desirable:
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations in China regions.
• Background in strategic resource planning and talent management.
• Expertise in driving innovative solutions and process improvements to address customer and organizational needs.
