What are we looking for?
•Technical Manager is accountable for leading the site utility and equipment maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive service on all operational equipment and utilities infrastructure. Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, and manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Build and manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department. Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principals by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
What will be your key responsibilities?
•Contribute to new business initiatives and work with site leadership team setting up the site working plan and initialtives
•Own & lead the site utility, manufacturing machine & equipment asset management & execution in all maintenance expects. Manage & governance maintenance team resources, working plan & leave plan.
•Build up the site technical capability by recruiting right associates, developing talent pipeline and driving best performance in Mars Way, as well as by establishing efficient working process and systems.
•Set PM execution plan & supervise Technician in order to complete all PM tasks follow procedure and comply with Safety & QFS standard.
•Lead daily asset management agendas related to machine & equipment: Unplan DT reporting & escalation, resource planning, Daily PM & CM planning
•Organize CM execution plan matching with regular shutdown to complete all CM activities list
•Supervise technical team and support operation team to recover machine unplan DT effectively with safety & QFS compliance
•Ensure that designated buildings, plant, facilities and utilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
•Manage the maintenance cost/ Capital spending within budget for those assigned projects
•Make sure the safety of all equipment technical systems and the quality & legal compliance and Mars standards compliance for all equipment and technical systems
•Manage, coach and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements
•Build up the technical training & transfer process to make sure technical/maintenance/operational staff be well equipped with right skillsets
•Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them
•Review, implement and update company records e.g. training matrices, performance reviews, risk assessments
•Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimise results and improve quality of delivery.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
