•Market research, tenders, negotiations and contracts for the respective sub-material field/ regional plants

•Implementation of material field strategy and supplier management

•Internal customer management and early involvement of the Internal customers

•Conducting RfQ process for projects according to signature rules and projects assigned by manager

•Concluding and managing contracts for assigned suppliers

•First contact window for internal customer, support to solve escalation cases acc. to communication plan

•Mentorship for assigned suppliers incl. supplier release, supplier evaluation, supplier eliminating (operational supplier management).

•Data entry, maintenance and quality control of IT-systems (incl. SRM)

•Data Consolidation upon request in order to follow up demand management

Personal requirements

•Fluent in English, level to perform negotiations

•Good practical experience in MS Office and SAP

•Willingness to travel

•Practicing purchasing basic principles including quality management.

•Negotiation skills (also in difficult situations) incl. advanced negotiations methods

•Experience with purchasing methods and IT tools for Indirect Purchasing

•Cost analysis within Indirect Purchasing

•Experience with machinery and equipment as a buyer or planner / designer/engineering preferred

•Supply Chain Optimization (material field strategy, purchasing processes, supplier development).

•Contract law and legal requirements, compliance
