Job Title: Logistics Intern
Job Grade:
Reporting to (Job Title): Internship Leader
Reporting to the Job Holder(subordinate):
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Logistics intern to support operation and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Daily Operation
-Assist in coordination and tracking of shipments and deliveries and collaborate with 3PLs to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
-In charge of sales/transfer orders’ logistics relevant processing including delivery notes creation, shipment creation and booking placing.
-Assist with the resolution of any logistical issues or discrepancies.
-CRM creation and follow up with suppliers
-SAP Processing (system GR, location movement, GI, etc)
-Other tasks assigned.
2. Vendor Management
-Assist Logistics team to facilitate the monthly vendor KPI meeting.
-Vendor KPI data maintenance and monitoring.
3. Continuous improvement
-Assist in monthly logistics performance monitoring including data collection and dashboard preparation, including China logistics network optimization, export container loadability optimization, etc.
-Project meeting facilitator and meeting minutes taker
4. Others
-Assist in monthly logistics performance monitoring including data collection and dashboard preparation.
-Provide support to the logistics manager and team in cost and other data analysis.
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
Education & Professional Background:
-Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in logistics and supply chain management is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
-Fluent in English (Verbal and written)
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio, etc)
-Familiar with Power Query, Power BI or other tools for data visualization and reporting
-Possess excellent communication and organizational coordination skills and have a strong sense of dedication and teamwork spirit.
