In your new role you will:

•Provide technical support of Infineon high power products (discrete, power module) with Si/SiC/GaN technologies, gate drivers etc in renewable energy applications like ESS etc

•Sell and promote IFX related products and the differentiating features/solutions in order to achieve a design-win at the customer projects.

•Provide relevant technical requirements of renewable energy application from the customer into the organization.

•Handle and collect the basic issues, troubleshooting during customer deign in and design win for relevant products.

•Monitor and collect this competitor’s product information and the latest technology to relevant stakeholder internally.

•Prepare and conduct product/application level trainings to customers and our partners

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

•Bachelor/Master degree in power electronics, electric engineering.

•5+ years working experience in power electronics industry or relevant renewable energy applications.

•Well understand the basic different circuit topologies and application requirement of power electronics like buck/boost, 2-level, 3-level topology like ANPC, NPC2, NPC1 as well as multi-level topology like flying capacitor, cascade topology, DC/DC like DAB, LCC etc.

•Solid knowhow and application of power electronics device physics (Si, SiC. GaN etc), electrical parameters, device physical trade-offs, paralleling etc

•Hands-on experience on GaN/Si/SiC power semiconductor for switching behavior and system testing, debugging, evaluation and benchmark in renewable energy application.

•Familiar with basic loss calculations of IGBT, SiC and GaN, their efficiencies, SOA, RBSOA, turn on/ turn off behavior, Miller behavior, gate switching characteristics etc

•EMC/EMI experience is preferred.

•Design experience in PCS converter or solar inverter is preferred.

•Good customer communication/presentation skill.

•Fluent speaking & writing in English

•Willingness to travel
