- Secure, the Propulsion System (PPS) Delivery Acceptance Releases for FAL within Suppliers facilities in conformity with Airbus Quality, Safety standard and POA rules.
- Client related activities
Responsibilities in managing both internal and external customers, and ensuring there is effective customer relationship management
- Responsible to present Propulsion systems to the Customer before delivery to FAL and manage associated QLBs until closure.
- Responsible for all escalated QLBs raised by the Customer from presentations and FAL process, accountable for QLB closure within leadtime.
- Being part of Delivery teams and identified as the Engine Quality Manager, he is the focal point for PPS Quality topic in front of the Customer in Aircraft Delivery phase.
- Voice of the Customer for its perimeter in the Multi-Functional Teams led by Engine and Nacelle Procurement.
- Operational activities
Responsibilities in running the day-to-day operations, and ensuring there is effective use of resources to achieve all the targets set
- Manage PPS Concessions (DQ1 and DQ2 signatories) and follow up PPS non-conformance raised at Suppliers facilities, FAL and Aircraft Delivery.
- Manage in timely manner all recovery activities between all involved organizations (Suppliers, Program, Procurement, Engineering, FAL, and Flight –Line, Delivery team) in order to support Aircraft “On Time Delivery” at Customer satisfaction.
- Manage release of refurbished, reworked Propulsion System (PPS) sub-part or full PPS assemblies back to production in close relation with Engine and Nacelle Procurement, Suppliers and Aircraft contracts.
- Lead resolution of PPS quality issues with internal stakeholders (FCM, DTM, FCO, Program Industrial, SOM, Procurement Contracts,) to achieve Customer satisfaction within Airbus policy and processes.
- Responsible to validate Snag Analysis Matrix (SAM) presented by suppliers.
- Responsible to identify quality issues impacting FAL and Customer satisfaction and to launch containment /corrective actions (Root Cause Analysis and Eradication,8D,…) at suppliers and through Airbus Offices
- Follow-up of QSR application at FAL/FL and especially at Delivery Center
