About the role
The Head of Global Supply chain is accountable for the Global Supply Chain activities in Nexperia which contain all activities around Strategy & Operations, Business Planning and Fulfilment, Business Process Digitalization, Global Logistics, Customer Supply Chain and Company Masterdata. The Business Group SCM activities are under the governance of the BG Operations Manager. Additionally, the Head of Global Supply Chain is driving Supply Chain Improvements for Nexperia and acts as interface to the Executive Management Team for Revenue Planning activities.
For Supply Chain Strategy the Head of global SCM is driving the usage of new software & technology to grow levels of digitalization and automation platform building to achieve a more efficient Supply chain operation and furthermore creating the path to AI usage.
This position is incorporating sustainability practices to align with industry trends and enhancing operational resilience and diversifying supplier base to mitigate risks associated with global dependencies.
Within the Supply Chain Organization this position is going to advocate the Nexperia Management Model usage and establishes and maintains a clear set of metrics to measure “performance to target”.
This is your new job:
•Gives strategic direction to the Business Planning Team within Nexperia and acts as escalation step in case of conflict between the Business Groups or shared service centers
•Drives target setting for Feasible Sales Accuracy and other Business Planning related KPIs
•Manages the service levels between BGs, Factories and Service Centers to get excellent performance from Product Planning in support of our customers
•Ensures efficient SCM processes are supported with reliable and fit for purpose solutions through standardization and automation and AI technology
•Driving the execution of Cash-Conversion-Cycle process
•Implementation and maintenance of an End-to-end cycle time PDCA
•Creating a yearly SCM Strategy update following the Nexperia Management Model and strategic intent
•Set up and maintain the SCM KPI library in order to support Company Goals
•Ensures alignment of processes between the SCM departments, Technology & Operations teams and the Leadership team
•Aligns SCM policies with the Business Groups
•Sponsors SCM related projects on company level
•Ensures best in class Warehousing and Transportation solutions, delivering highest customer value by on-time performance and flexibility with benchmark cost
•Enables a global set up of customer service activities allowing for in-time support to customers
•Drives special service focus areas for Strategic Customers
•Identify and resolve Supply Chain Risks and drive geopolitical business continuity measures
•Drives and manages overall SCM improvement activities in line with Nexperia SCM Roadmap and Nexperia Top Must Do’s
•Leads, organizes and promotes the SCM Teams
•Sets individual Goals / Targets and monitors progress in line with Nexperia Management Model
•Ensures best in class Product Lifecycle Management activities for all businesses for Product, Finance, Vendor and Customer Master Data and enable an efficient service level to other internal customers
This is you:
•Master’s degree in business administration Information/Communication Technology, MIS, Logistics or equivalent
•APICS CPIM/CIRM or comparable education
•Min years of proven leadership of larger multinational and multi-location organizations/teams
•Multiple years’ experience in managing complex projects
•Fundamental understanding of Financial indicators and organizational development
•More than 15 years of experience in a business environment
•Familiarity with Planning and Supply Chain concepts
•Knowledge of and experience with ERP and/or planning systems such as SAP (MM/PP/SD) and o9 Solutions
•Strong IT & SCM affinity
•Leadership capabilities
•Visionary capabilities
•Strong affinity to future technology like AI and ML
•Project management methodology
•Fluency in English
•Proven people management skills
•Pro-active and driving change
•Building foundation and organization for fast-paced Semiconductor industry
