The Software Project Manager leads cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams, and is responsible for achieving the project objectives (time/quality/cost/other organizational objectives etc.).
• Plan, direct, monitor and control project work during the whole life cycle of the project.
• Organize and moderate the project management meeting.
• Manage scope (project boundaries, requirements, deliverable defination etc.), and manage changes.
• Estimate activities resource/duration and define detailed schedule with team, and control schedule.
• Estimate and control cost
• Plan and perform quality assurance action(e.g. Quality Gate); Ensure process compliance.
• Acquire, develop and manage project team resources; Provide performance feedback.
• Management internal/external communication, e.g. Report project status to project and organization line.
• Identify and analyze risks; Plan risk responses, and control risks.
• Lead software development strategy formulation, and drive the development with an efficient and reliable strategy.
• Manage software requirements, and lead requirement analysis
• Lead problem/issue solving.
• Handling of technical requests.
• Motivate and guide project team.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and expectation.
• Support customer communication; Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Deliver project outcome, including project deliverables, orgnizational assets and benifits.
