Job Description

This position is focused on providing data-driven and detail-oriented support to the Supplier Quality function. It plays a pivotal role in developing and managing data systems to track, analyze, and enhance supplier quality metrics. The role supports the Supplier Quality team by delivering predictive analytics, automated reporting, and performance dashboards to help prioritize audits, manage supplier risks, and drive strategic initiatives. By aligning quality initiatives with real-time supplier performance data, this position directly contributes to continuous improvement and supplier development. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, sound business acumen, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities:

-Data Collection, Management & Governance

-Acquire, clean, validate, and manage data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

-Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and databases for supplier quality, sourcing, and operational metrics.

-Optimize data collection systems and recommend improvements to enhance real-time visibility and data integrity.

-Support data governance initiatives, ensuring adherence to data quality standards across systems.

-Data Analysis, Interpretation & Predictive Modeling

-Perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analyses to identify trends, root causes, and performance patterns across suppliers and plants.

-Use statistical tools and data modeling techniques to flag high-risk suppliers or components based on historical performance and inspection data.

-Conduct ad hoc analyses for urgent supplier incidents, including impact assessments and effectiveness of containment actions.

-Collaborate with business and quality teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) that support supplier scorecards and development strategies.

-Reporting, Visualization & Insight Communication

-Design and deliver interactive dashboards, visual reports, and executive summaries using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for various audiences.

-Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports covering PPM, NCRs, SCARs, VoC, audit outcomes, and supplier development cost.

-Automate reporting processes to ensure efficient, timely delivery of KPIs and trend analyses.

-Translate complex data into actionable insights and business-relevant recommendations to guide supplier performance evaluations and risk mitigation.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support

-Work closely with teams in Quality, Sourcing, Engineering, Operations, IT, and Finance to align data standards and support strategic goals.

-Act as a subject matter expert on supplier quality data analytics and performance monitoring.

-Provide analytical support for continuous improvement and compliance initiatives across the global supply chain.

-Continuous Improvement & Innovation

-Identify opportunities to improve data processes, systems, and tools for increased efficiency and decision-making effectiveness.

-Contribute to the development and implementation of automation solutions, AI-driven analytics, and advanced data visualization techniques.

-Participate in and support global initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier management and quality performance.

-Additional Responsibilities

-Perform other duties and analytics projects as assigned to support operational excellence and business continuity.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in data science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Supply Chain management, or a related field.

-Proficiency in data mining and statistical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Minitab), and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).

-Minimum of 3 years of experience in the areas of data analysis, quality management or supply chain management.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills of English for dealing with all levels of staff (CET- 4 or above)

-Exhibit strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

-Knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and supplier audit processes.

-Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

-Excellent PC skills (i.e. Microsoft office software).
