About the role
This role is accountable for the execution of a strategic and business-critical IGBT product development project with the highest complexity, which requires handling both multiple technical (e.g. process/ product development) and non-technical challenges (e.g. challenging time-to-market).
What you will do
•Accountable for achieving defined project results
•Accountable for the execution of complex multi-site R&D projects according to the agreed project plan and within agreed boundaries (Specification, quality, timing, costs, information/reporting and organisation)
•Accountable that relevant quality standards for own projects are defined and met, and to monitor & control the execution of own projects
•Accountable for defining competencies and resources needed and building a performing project team. Take team leadership, including operational guidance and conflict management
•Responsible for defining the overall project plan in consultation/agreement with all relevant management levels and stakeholders within the Nexperia organisation up to the EMT level
•Responsible for exercising judgment on the project set-up, competitive timelines, budget, efficient execution, changes and risks, challenges, decisions on process, procedures, method and technology to be used in the project
•Responsible to manage all requested changes and establish a change management process
•Responsible for analysing project risks (w. r. t. specifications, costs, timing, etc.) and developing & incorporating scenarios to overcome these risks
What you will need
•Extensive knowledge in state-of-the-art project management tools and their application with a proven track record in the execution of complex product development projects in the semiconductor industry
•PMI certification or similar is a benefit
•Knowledge of semiconductor processes and packages
•Leadership skills in building and leading project teams in a global, intercultural environment
•Delivering on commitment – always demonstrating full accountability for project deliverables, demonstrating “customer obsession” by actively looking for opportunities to reduce time to market
•Ability to build ‘winning teams’
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills, incl. stakeholder management up to EMT level
