Company Introduction

Satair, a 100% Airbus subsidiary and a world leader in the commercial aerospace aftermarket, is looking for a Marketing and Communication Intern. Our Marketing & Communication team supports Satair's business across four key areas: product and service marketing campaigns, event management, external communication and brand management, and internal communication. We operate globally, with stakeholders both external (Airlines, Maintenance Repair and Overhaul companies, Suppliers) and internal (employees).

Location

This internship is based in Beijing, China, and will report locally to the HO Sales and Support China, while also being part of the global Marketing and Communications team.

About the Internship

As a Marketing and Communication Intern, you will be an integral part of our China - based team, supporting the implementation of various marketing and communication initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands - on experience in a global corporate environment, with exposure to project management, digital marketing, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Event Support


  • Assist in the end-to-end organization of high-profile events such as airshows, public forums, and international conferences. This includes tasks like helping with vendor research, preparing event materials, and on-site event support.
  • Support the organization of regional press conferences. This involves tasks such as coordinating with local media, helping to manage the distribution of press materials, and taking notes during the press conferences.
  • Participate in meetings with the regional sales team to understand customer needs related to event planning and help with logistics arrangements.

Digital and Content Support


  • Aid in the development and implementation of the regional digital and content strategy. This may include tasks such as researching local market trends, helping to create content for social media platforms, and assisting in the localization of marketing materials.
  • Support the management of the company's official WeChat account. This includes tasks like content curation, scheduling posts, and monitoring basic engagement metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement Support


  • Assist in maintaining relationships with key partners, customers, and media outlets in the region. This could involve tasks such as helping to prepare communication materials for stakeholders, scheduling meetings, and following up on correspondence.
  • Support the reporting process to senior management on marketing initiatives and stakeholder feedback. This includes tasks like gathering data, creating simple reports, and helping to prepare presentation materials.

Translation and Localization


  • Review and proofread translated marketing materials to ensure accuracy and cultural relevance. Work closely with local teams to optimize the impact of the materials.
  • Provide insights into local market trends that can inform strategic decision-making, especially in relation to the localization of marketing campaigns.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting


  • Help collect and analyze data related to marketing and communication activities. This may involve tasks such as gathering data from social media platforms, website analytics, and event feedback forms.
  • Assist in preparing reports for upper management, summarizing the data collected and highlighting key trends or areas for improvement.


任职条件

Education


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Students in their junior or senior year are preferred.

Skills and Experience


  • Basic understanding of marketing and communication concepts, with a particular interest in digital marketing and event management.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English and Mandarin.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools
  • Interest in working in a multicultural environment, as Satair is a global company.
