MAIN PURPOSE

Work under the supervision of the Store Design Planning Vice President, Cartier China. He or she guides the project step by step to make sure that all tasks are being done properly and that goals that have been set for the project have been met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare project planning and budget forecasts for each Specialist/Retail projects;
• Consolidate detail/accurate site survey package from vendor and liaise with HQ on the design for each project;
• Reviews construction and shop drawings from vendors and ensure details were following our design intend. Follow up with vendors in weekly basis on progress, material orders etc. to ensure the timely and qualified delivery;
• Assist in evaluation and provide solution of potential field problems, referring them to Project manager;
• Provide site inspections for ongoing projects, produce inspection report and punch lists at the time of completion. Then, follow up on the defect rectification works;
• Follow up on maintenance issues to ensure the quality standard remains after opening;
• Monitor, follow up, keep track on the capex spending. Prepare costs summaries for each project after completion.

COMPETENCIES

• 4-5 years of experience in retail project management;
• Able to handle multiple projects at the same time;
• Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required;
• Excellent communication, accounting and organizational skills;
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project management software a plus;
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential;
• Willing to travel extensively;
• Bachelor degree.
