About the role
The PDK Engineer is responsible for coding the PDK (Process Design Kit) and transferring device silicon characteristics to EDA tools.
What you will do
•Develop and maintain PDK (Including Pcell/LVS/DRC/XRC) for Mixed Signal/BCD processes, enabling accurate mapping of device silicon characteristics to EDA tools (e.g., Cadence/Synopsys flows)
•Validate PDK model accuracy, calibrate device parameters using silicon test data, and support design teams for efficient model utilisation
•Develop PDK documentation and user guides; provide technical support to resolve interface issues between design and process teams
•Collaborate with foundries to promote PDK standardisation and ensure cross-platform compatibility
What you will need
•Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields; 5+ years of PDK development experience, familiar with CMOS/BCD process technologies
•Proficient in Skill/Python scripting; knowledge of PDK architecture (e.g., LIBRARY, CEL, VIEW) and QA processes
•Good English skills; clear logical thinking; adept at cross-team technical communication
