Responsibilities and Tasks
• Supports field sales organization to achieve and/or exceed sales objectives and the organization’s overall business goals
• Drive and support implementation of sales strategy in field organization (e.g. go to market approach, performance improvement, business development plans, efficiency programs, introduction of new systems and tools, people development)
• Drive the improvement of sales processes, tools, systems and policies
• Support and coach field sales organization in driving systematic sales management, consultative value sales approach and Key Accounts Management
• Drive Sales process harmonization /simplification, supported by tools and systems
• Identify and fix pain points from the field
• Define and track KPI’s to drive performance improvement action
• Facilitate customer activities (customer events, product launches, speeches etc.)
• Main collaboration partners are OU field sales organisations, PLM, MFG, IT, BU and OU Management
• Represent AP in global Sales meetings
• AP Contact for Global Key accounts
Requirements
• University / Bachelor Degree in engineering or business
• Cultural sensitive personality to interact with a highly diversified portfolio in terms of culture, country requirements and legislations and org. maturity
• Fluent in English, knowledge in Chinese is an advantage
• At least five years B2B Sales experience in a managerial position for a MNC, preferably on a regional / APAC level
• Work experience in Industrial goods domain, Elevator/Escalator or Mechanical & Electrical industry knowledge is considered a strong advantage
• Profound understanding of sales buying processes and related tools/systems
• Track record in business development, strategic planning and key account management
• Customer-centric personality, with good understanding in consultative/value sales approach and stakeholder management
• Experience in Public speaking / good presentation skills
• Structured working style, strategic orientation, good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good at numbers with robust commercial and financial understanding
• Drive for excellence and willing to go the extra mile and challenge the status quo
• Strong team player and familiar to interact in a functional/matrix organization
• Strong in execution track record in a multi-cultural environment
• Good interpersonal skills, effective in communication, social and outgoing
• Positive, flexible, creative, proactive & dynamic personality
• Self-driven, independent to fulfil tasks
• Willing to travel (up to 50%)
