职位描述

Responsibilities:

Console game level design oversight:

- Design innovative and challenging game levels to enhance player experience.

- Develop detailed level design standards and procedures based on the game's goals and expectations.

- Regularly review level designs and lead team to optimize those based on client’s feedback.

- Analyze player feedback and game data to continuously adjust and optimize level design.

Team Management and talent development:

- Build and lead a high-performing design team with the expected objectives achieved

- Mentor and develop designers, taking full responsible for designer’s professional growth with their competence and skills developed through the talent acquisition, the planning and implementation of training, the performance management etc.

- Liaise with studio management and our Recruitment department to assist with the planning and hiring strategy of the Design department to ensure future project needs are met.

Project delivery:

- Leverage your extensive experience in full development, help to set goals and milestones for your team.

- Deliver compelling content from concept to completion, ensuring that design goals are met within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

- Work closely with other departments (such as art, engineering,etc.) to ensure design’s work align with the overall style and technical requirements of the game as well as to resolve the project issues

Innovation and Industry Trends Understanding:

- Stay abreast of industry trends, newly released titles, emerging technologies, and advancements in game design, and integrate relevant innovations into our projects.

- Encourage a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement within the design team.

团队管理及发展:

- 建立并领导一个高绩效的设计团队,实现预期目标。

- 全面负责策划团队成员的职业成长,通过人才招聘、培训计划和实施、绩效管理等方式,提升他们的能力和技能。

- 与工作室管理层及人力资源招聘保持协作,确保策划团队的人才选拔能满足项目需求。

项目交付:

- 利用您丰富的全面策划经验,结合维塔士集团和成都工作室的目标,指定策划团队对应的目标。

- 从概念到完成交付引人入胜的内容,确保在范围、时间表和预算限制内实现设计目标。

- 与其他部门(如美术、程序等)紧密合作,确保设计工作符合游戏的整体风格和技术要求,并解决项目问题。

关注创新和行业动态:

- 保持对行业趋势、新发布的游戏、新兴技术以及游戏设计的进步的关注,并将相关创新整合到我们的项目中。

- 在设计团队中鼓励实验文化和持续改进的文化。

 

任职条件

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a design director in Game industry, with a successful track record of delivering successful, critically-acclaimed AAA titles throughout the full development cycle.

- Over 10 years of experience in Level design, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.

- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.

- Familiar with all stages of game development, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Strong communication and coordination skills, able to effectively collaborate with team members of diverse backgrounds.

- Experienced working in an English-speaking environment.
