Collaborate with product owners, architects (Platform, Process, and Data), technical leads, engineers, and data leads to define detailed solution designs, including story decomposition for backlog items.

Ensure that products and services are supported by the appropriate architectures and that solutions meet customer, regulatory, and compliance requirements in alignment with the Future State Architecture.

Ensure that solutions are aligned with platform architecture and roadmap, group standards and policies, reference architectures, and the overall enterprise architecture for their function.

Manage the design of product solutions to ensure they are cost-effective and maintained throughout the agile development lifecycle, overseeing the flow of the backlog of design activities and articulating associated architectural risks, issues, and technical debt.

Work closely with Operations Engineers to validate the feasibility of solutions through proof of concept, addressing operational issues such as performance, operator intervention, alerting, and design defects in a timely manner.

Translate requirements into actionable product/service requirements that guide technology and data solutions development, influencing service direction.

Provide architectural leadership across a portfolio of change initiatives, driving best practices and innovation.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of working experience in IT, preferably within a financial institution.

Proven experience in solution architecture, design, and implementation.

Strong understanding of cloud platform (Azure, GCP, AWS and Alicloud), generative AI and its applications in banking is highly desirable.

Excellent communication in both verbal and written form to non-technical stakeholders and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Ability to speak in Mandarin, Cantonese and English will be an advantage

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Familiar with programming, database technology and their relevant design patterns (e.g. Swift/Java/Python/Golang/Node.js/relational DB/NOSQL DB).

Capability of using and extending common frontend & microservice development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, springboot, etc.)
