Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Heat Transfer Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in developing advanced heat transfer solutions for various applications. As a Heat Transfer Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining heat transfer systems such as shell & tube heat exchanger to meet the specific needs of our clients. This is a technical and hands-on role that requires expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and system integration.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Design and develop innovative and energy-efficient heat exchanger, considering factors such as thermal efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and ease of maintenance.
• Perform technical calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate design concepts and optimize heat transfer performance.
• Conduct prototype testing, data collection, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure the smooth manufacturing and assembly of heat exchanger, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
• Participate in product improvement initiatives, troubleshooting technical issues, and proposing design modifications or enhancements based on customer feedback or field performance data.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in heat transfer technology, industry trends, and relevant standards to contribute to product roadmaps and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in HVAC or Mechanical Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience (3 years at least) in designing and developing heat exchangers.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer principles, and fluid dynamics.
• Pressure vessel design knowledge and experience is preferred.
• Experience with Chiller product and applications.
• Proficient in the use of CAD software for 2D and 3D design.
• Demonstrated ability to create detailed engineering documents and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including proficiency in simulation and modeling software.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
