Job Summary / Purpose
Responsible to deliver a compliant operational procedures in the store and to verify with a constant monitoring their implementation. Accountable to ensure the correct handling with goods, care of product, non-merchandising management, cashier management and acting as ambassador with all BOH staffs of the store. Coordinates and operating activities accordingly to corporate guidelines, policy/procedures and KPIs. Guarantee the operational support to Store Managers / Regional Retail Operation office.
Responsibility
• Procedure implementation
o Ensure the care and protection of the product according to company guidelines
o Guarantee the implementation of all procedures in line with corporate guideline and with the “Store Operation Manual”
o Trains the Stock Manager /Stock assistant in relation to stockroom management procedures and making sure the implementation in line with corporate requirement
o Ensure with a strict monitoring onsite
o Guarantees the communication with the Regional Operation office, especially in the case of exceptions and escalations.
• Store management
o Support the overall strategic management of the store by establishing effective working relationship with senior colleagues, in particular Store manager, department manager, stock manager
o Support the selling function of the store by managing the areas of operations including, but not limited to, cleaning, maintenance, security, supply, training, and communication
o In-charge of the BOH area which include stockroom / ext. Stockroom / cashier.
o Actively participate in the key management issues, train and implement the standards / regulations.
o Conduct routine inspections of all areas to ensure the store’s hardware and software are in optimum condition.
o Coordinate with store managers to make an efficient ordering on non-merchandising packaging /tools, without compromising the BOH standards, client experience.
o Analyze cost on monthly basis and prepare action plans for the store routine cost
o Supervise team’s daily performance and grooming, and deliver coaching and regular reviews
o Maintain the relationship with service providers.
• Inventory Management
o Monitor the stock staff to process product care and management in line with corporate guideline
o Controls and organize the monthly cycle count
o Ensure the planning, the management and the control overall activities related to financial stock-take of finished product and display objects.
o Supervise all activities with stock movement, which includes consignment, repair, and PR loan.
• Cashier Management
o Establish the invoice management tracker (including purchase, issue, VAT, etc) in managed store.
o Responsible for sales and AR collection reconciliation.
o Review the payment request before submission for reimbursement
o Follow up on any projects/upgrades of payment request.
• Customer Service
o Ensures that each member of the team provides an excellent service to each individual, including tailoring or after service
o Monitor and keep on track every repair case
o Develops sales and goodwill through proper services to all clients
o Always be present and back-up the team in case of conflicts
• Projects
o Proactively communication with regional operation office
o Open minded and lead the store in participation of operational projects as pilot
o Encouraged in sharing best practice to all store in rollout session.
o Play as trainer in dedicated topics assigned by operation office to strengthen the overall practice among stores.
Requirements and capabilities
• Tertiary educated with at least 5 years of relevant management experience in high-end fashion, luxury industry on in similar capacity
• Store business sense with solid analytical skills
• Ability to lead and drive performance and customer service
• A good team player, strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
