Reporting to the GIS Greater China leader, the senior IT application specialist oversees the harmonization of business processes and supporting technology within the region across multiple QuidelOrtho supply chain process domains including Plan, Source, Deliver, as well as Customer Service. The senior IT application specialist will work closely with the Regional Supply Chain team and be responsible for supporting the regional portfolio of Supply Chain business system change and improvements aligned with QuidelOrtho’s global Supply Chain strategies.

Aligned with global initiatives, support the regional portfolio of demand for QuidelOrtho SC IT with the key business partners by ensuring creation of complete business solutions for assigned programs including necessary interim business process, technical, and data architectures required across the landscape in order to have a fully functional solution for QuidelOrtho

Refine and improve overall service delivery and portfolio management

Support regional system improvements, from the Plan, Source, Deliver, and Customer Service process areas, through the solution delivery life cycle from requirements definition through ongoing operational support

Serve as a change coordinator with an understanding of the cultural and change management requirements and impact inherent in a large, complex organizational change initiative

Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline required. Advanced degrees including MBA or MS in Engineering, Information Systems or other technical discipline preferred. SAP system certification, ITIL and Six Sigma green/black belt are a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of supply chain/ ERP business system process design and delivery.

Licensure/Credentials: SAP ECC, SAP APO, ITIL, and PMP preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent ability to communicate effectively with system users both internally and externally (suppliers).

Fluent in English.

Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain interactions and interdependencies.

Demonstrated hands-on project management/delivery experience.

Ability to identify and solve complex process and operational business challenges.

Excellent global system implementation and management skills.
