Responsibilities:

New production PCB/substrates development and setup (specification, qualification and PPAP approval) to meet project application/cost/timing requirements,

Technical support to global design centers and manufacturing sites on PCB/substrates selection, design, application, failure analysis, problem solving, part shortages and MCIP activities.

Develop new suppliers and verify supplier technical feasibility, lab capability.

Evaluate and qualify new technologies to support design application requirements.

Assess Supplier Change Requests (SCR) to mitigate risks and maximize cost saving across product lines,

Maintain and update PCB/Substrates general specifications according to BorgWarner general requirement and technology roadmap.

Maintain and update PCB/substrates design guidelines

Perform PCB panel optimization for cost saving.

Qualifications:

Education Bachler or Master degree in Electrics, Materials or relevant fields

Good knowledge of PCB physics, design, manufacture, application, quality, reliability and failure analysis.

Good understanding of Automotive Product Development, Supplier Change Management, PPAP process, common automotive quality procedures, etc.

Knowledge of IPC TM-650 test methods.

Project management skills
