Major Job Responsibilities

• Lead, oversee, and manage department project development and execution

• Understand and drive department adherence to competency processes and procedures

• Responsible to deliver product design to meet project metrics, cost, quality, and delivery.

• Provide technical leadership to the department

• Responsible of and achieve the planned department staff’s technical growth targets

• Serve customer as competency expert

• Plan and manage department resource budgets

• Exercise sound engineering and business judgment

• Customer visits and travels as required

• Own project success

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering

• With at least 10 years of product mechanical design working experience

• With 3 or more years of leadership, project lead, or managerial experience

• Extensive knowledge of rapid prototyping and production plastic and sheet metal tooling

• Good understanding and/or knowledge of automotive environment will be an advantage

• Quick in grasping and understanding of new products and technologies

• Working knowledge of and/or skill in CAD/CAE/CAM tools

• Fluent in technical English reading/writing and verbal communication skills are required

• With sound project planning skill and some financial analysis know-how

• Positive interpersonal attitude with strong people management and leadership skill

• Strong in analytical assessment and priority setting skill

• PC-based project planning tool application

资格

• 机械工程专业本科或以上学历

• 至少10年产品机械设计工作经验

• 具备3年以上领导、项目领导或管理经验

• 具有快速成型和生产塑料及钣金模具的丰富知识

• 了解和/或了解汽车环境者优先

• 对新产品、新技术的掌握和理解能力强

• 具备良好的项目规划技能和财务分析能力

• 积极的人际关系态度，有很强的人员管理和领导能力

• 较强的分析评估和优先级设置技能
